About

Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I got here…

Well, here’s my story so far.

I studied graphic design at Central St. Martin’s in London and ended up majoring in their ad course. After interning for a bunch of different ad agencies and living the placement life, I finally got hired at TBWA by Steve Henry where I worked for nearly five years. From there, I moved on to MullenLowe for a couple of years where I met my long-time creative partner Miguel Gonzalez and was mentored by Rich Denney and Dave Henderson, two of the nicest blokes you’ll ever meet. It’s at this point that I found out that I was a better writer than art director so I made the switch to copywriting. Eventually, we got hired by some guy called Nils Leonard at Grey London for a few more years before “Grexit” happened. The legend that is Vicki Maguire took over and said we could keep our jobs but alas, America came calling.

Jeff Goodby and Rich Silverstein are two guys you don’t say no to so I packed up the family (my wife Lisa and our two boys Milo and Noah) and moved to San Francisco, California. I was at GS&P for three years before the unthinkable happened. W+K Portland and Alberto Ponte and Ryan O’Rourke liked our work enough to offer us a job working on Nike. My impostor syndrome instantly kicked in but took the job anyway and I’ve been at W+K ever since making “the best work of my life”.

This portfolio is just a small window to the stuff I love doing. There’s obviously a lot of people involved in making all this stuff and it’s never easy getting work out in any form so thanks to all my collaborators for allowing me to bring the things that’s inside my head out into the real world for others to see. If you like it enough to get in touch then click on the button below. I’m always down for a good talk.
